How far is the Hostel from Westport town?
The hostel is located right next door to the Westport Railway Station which is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Westport.
Do we need a car to get around?
You do not need a car to get around Westport town. It is a small, compact town brimming with pubs, restaurants, cafes and more. If you want to explore the countryside (Surfing 20km away) or Croagh Patrick (10km away) a car might be handy.
How far away is Ireland West Airport (Knock Airport)
The local airport “Ireland West Airport
” is a beautiful 45 minutes drive from The Middle Way Hostel.
Is there a nearby place to cycle the Greenway?
The incredible 45km Greenway cycle path which stretches from Westport town centre to Achill Island starts right outside our front door!
